Product Overview

Automotive Clutch Release Bearings, commonly referred to as throw-out bearings, are specialized automotive bearings installed between the clutch pressure plate and the actuation fork (or hydraulic slave cylinder). Operating under high axial thrust and dynamic rotational speeds, these bearings engage and disengage the drive torque from the engine flywheel to the transmission whenever the driver presses the clutch pedal. Manufactured from high-grade GCr15 Chrome Steel or high-strength engineering thermoplastics/aluminum housings, clutch release bearings are designed with self-aligning inner ring geometry to compensate for clutch diaphragm spring eccentricity, reducing operating friction, wear, and pedal vibration. They are available in mechanical lever-actuated designs and modern integrated Hydraulic Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) assemblies across manual transmission passenger cars, commercial trucks, tractors, and racing vehicles.

Lightweight & Noise-Dampening Housings: Modern designs feature reinforced polyamide or aluminum housings that reduce weight, damp mechanical vibrations, and deliver quiet, smooth pedal action.

Hydraulic Integration (CSC Units): Available as combined Hydraulic Concentric Slave Cylinders (CSC) that integrate the bearing and hydraulic cylinder into a single unit, eliminating external actuation linkages and reducing pedal effort.
