EWC Series Stainless Steel One-Way Bearings (also classified as drawn cup roller clutches or one-way clutch bearings) are compact, high-precision direction-control components designed to transmit torque in one rotational direction while freewheeling freely in the reverse.
Unlike standard needle roller bearings, the drawn outer cup of an EWC bearing features precision-formed internal locking ramps (cams). When rotated in the driving direction, individual stainless steel needle rollers wedging against these internal ramps instantly lock the assembly to the shaft.
