Flanged Linear Bearings (LMFSeries)

Flanged Linear Bearings (LMF, LMK, and LMH Series) are integrated motion components that combine a recirculating linear ball bush with an external mounting flange. This design eliminates the need for external pillow blocks or housings, allowing the bearing unit to be bolted directly to perpendicular mounting plates or support frames.

Product Overview

The outer sleeve is machined from high-carbon chromium bearing steel and houses a resin retainer designed to guide continuous circuits of precision steel balls along ground shafts. Flanged linear bearings are produced in three primary flange geometries:

Round Flange (LMF Series): Standard circular flange for symmetric bolt layouts.

Square Flange (LMK Series): Compact square flange offering flat mounting edges and reduced outer profile clearance.

Oval / Cut Flange (LMH Series): Two-bolt mounting flange designed for space-constrained or narrow-channel installations.

These bearings are widely specified in 3D printers, CNC machinery, automated pick-and-place systems, medical equipment, optical measurement devices, and industrial sliding mechanisms.

Direct Mounting Capability: Integrated flange eliminates separate bearing housings, simplifying machine structure design and assembly setup.

Low Friction & Smooth Motion: Precision ball circuits running against hardened linear shafts yield low operational drag and quiet operation.

Multiple Flange Configurations: Available in round (LMF), square (LMK), and oval (LMH) profiles, as well as extended-length double-bushing (LUU) series for higher moment load capacity.

Double-Lip Rubber Sealing: Fitted with synthetic rubber wiper seals (UU) on both ends to retain grease and prevent dust or debris ingress.

Corrosion Resistance Options: Available in stainless steel variants (SUS440C sleeve/balls) or nickel/plated surface treatments for cleanroom and chemical environments.
