Product Overview

Unlike rotary bearings, linear ball bearings feature closed internal recirculating ball tracks within a synthetic resin retainer cage. As the bearing travels along a hardened steel linear shaft, precision steel balls continuously roll in a load-bearing zone before recirculating back through a return track, allowing unlimited linear travel distance with minimal friction.

These bearings are produced in three primary structural types:

Closed Type (LM / LME Series): Standard cylindrical outer sleeve for end-supported shafts.

Adjustable Type (LM-AJ Series): Features an axial slot through the sleeve to adjust radial clearance within a housing.

Open Type (LM-OP Series): Features a sector opening (typically 50° to 80°) to allow passage over continuous shaft support rails.

Linear ball bearings are widely used in 3D printers, CNC routers, automated packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, medical equipment, and industrial motion slides.

Multiple Structural Variations: Available in standard closed, clearance-adjustable (AJ), open-type for supported shafts (OP), and extended double-bushing (LUU) configurations.

Synthetic Wiper Seals (UU): Fitted with double-lip nitrile rubber seals at both ends to retain grease and prevent dust or particle entry.

High Interchangeability: Standardized metric ISO dimensions (LM Asia / LME Europe Series) ensure direct compatibility across major motion control systems
