Snap Ring Bearings, commonly known as NR Series Bearings, are deep groove ball bearings featuring a circumferential snap ring groove on the outer ring and an accompanying steel snap ring. This specialized design simplifies axial positioning and mechanical mounting within the housing, eliminating the need for complex shoulder designs or internal retaining rings. Manufactured from premium GCr15 Chrome Steel or AISI 440C Stainless Steel, these bearings offer high rotational precision, exceptional radial load-carrying capacity, and streamlined housing installation. Available in open, metal shielded (ZZ), and rubber sealed (2RS) options, snap ring bearings are widely specified in automotive transmissions, industrial gearboxes, reduction units, and agricultural equipment.
