Spherical Plain Bearings (also referred to as radial spherical plain bushings or spherical plain swivel joints) are standardized, heavy-duty sliding bearings designed to accommodate high radial loads, oscillating movements, and severe multidirectional angular misalignment. Unlike traditional rolling element bearings, spherical plain bearings do not use balls or rollers; instead, they rely on a inner ring with a spherical convex outer surface that swivels smoothly within a outer ring with a matching spherical concave inner surface.

Manufactured from high-strength GCr15 Chrome Steel, stainless steel, or bronze combinations, these bearings are designed to maintain full contact area even under heavy frame flexing, structural deflections, and shaft bending. They are widely specified across hydraulic cylinders, construction excavators, mining dump trucks, suspension linkages, agricultural steering assemblies, wind turbine pitch actuators, and heavy industrial automation equipment.

Exceptional Shock Impact Resistance: Absence of rolling elements eliminates point/line loading fatigue, making them resilient against violent impact loads and heavy vibrations.

Corrosion & Wear Resistance: Available with phosphated surface coatings, zinc plating, or full stainless steel construction for outdoor and marine environments.
