Track Rollers (CF Series)

Cam Followers and Track Rollers (also referred to as track needle roller bearings or stud/yoke type rollers) are heavy-duty, thick-walled rolling bearings engineered to roll directly along all types of tracks, cams, linear guides, and conveyor rails. Unlike standard thin-walled bearings, these units feature a thick outer ring designed to withstand high radial deformation, extreme bending stresses, and heavy cyclic dynamic shock loads.

Product Overview

They are primarily available in two structural configurations:

Stud Type Cam Followers (KR / CF / NUKR Series): Feature a solid, high-strength threaded stud replacing the inner ring, allowing for quick cantilever mounting onto machinery frames or levers using a hexagonal socket or screwdriver slot.

Yoke Type Track Rollers (NATR / NUTR / RNA Series): Feature a conventional inner ring designed for pin-clevis mounting between double-sided supporting yoke arms.

Manufactured from high-purity GCr15 Chrome Steel or case-hardened alloy steel, they feature crowned or cylindrical outer ring profile surfaces to prevent edge loading under track deflection. They are widely specified in automated packaging lines, cam-driven indexing mechanisms, transfer equipment, CNC tool changers, bottling plants, and material handling systems.

Thick-Walled Outer Ring Design: Specially reinforced outer ring resists severe radial impact loads, track bending stresses, and fatigue failure caused by direct rolling contact.

Crowned & Cylindrical Outer Surface Options:

Crowned Outer Surface: Minimizes edge stress concentrations caused by shaft misalignment or angular tracking tilt.

Cylindrical Outer Surface: Provides maximum contact area for heavy loads on wide, flat guide rails.

Convenient Cantilever Threaded Stud Assembly: Stud-type followers feature precision-machined threads and an integrated hex socket/slot, making installation into blind holes or lever arms fast and reliable.

High Radial Load Capacity with Compact Cross-Section: Utilizes full complement needle rollers or cylindrical roller assemblies to maximize load-carrying capacity within a restricted radial envelope.

Integrated Sealing & Relubrication Paths: Equipped with synthetic contact seals (PP / 2RS) or labyrinth steel shields, along with internal grease ducts and lubrication holes on the stud ends for easy field maintenance.
